Getting Started

What happens in the first session?

Session 1 is a full assessment and introduction. Yomi will discuss your goals, lifestyle, training history, and any injuries or limitations. This is followed by a movement and posture assessment and a tailored introductory workout. You’ll leave with a clear starting point and a structured plan. There’s no pressure — Session 1 is about understanding you.

Do I need any equipment?

No. Yomi brings all equipment needed for the session — resistance bands, weights, and any tools required. If you have equipment at home or access to a gym, that will be incorporated into your programme.

I have never trained before?

Yes. Many YomiFit clients had never trained with a personal trainer before their first session. Yomi works with all levels and paces every programme to suit where you are right now — not where you think you should be.

How do I book a session?

You can book online through our Packages page, message us directly on WhatsApp, or use the contact form on our Contact page. Yomi will confirm your schedule within 24 hours.

Can I pause my package?

In exceptional circumstances — such as injury or extended travel — Yomi will discuss a pause or extension on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as early as possible.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. The package price covers everything. Yomi brings all equipment. There are no travel charges for locations within the covered service areas.

Sessions & Scheduling

How long are sessions?

All standard YomiFit sessions are 60 minutes. This includes warm-up, the main training block, and cool-down guidance. Extended sessions may be available for specialist programmes on request.

How often should I train?

Most clients train 2–3 sessions per week for optimal results. Yomi will recommend a training frequency based on your goals, schedule, and recovery capacity during Session 1.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place wherever is most convenient for you — your home, residential or hotel gym, outdoor location, or any private fitness facility. Yomi covers 30+ Dubai communities. Online coaching is available for clients outside Dubai or for those who prefer remote sessions.

Can I reschedule a session?

Yes. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice via WhatsApp. We understand schedules change and will always try to find a suitable alternative. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows will be counted as a completed session.
